WSOC: Highlanders Bested by Marywood

LANGHORNE, PA – The Cairn Highlanders Women's Soccer team hosted Marywood University on Wednesday night as they were shutout by the Pacers, 3-0.
 
Marywood (6-2-1) took the lead in the 22nd minute with Cairn (0-5-1) taking seven shots in the frame to try and even the score. In the second half, the Pacers added a goal to their lead on a penalty kick to the top right corner and a third in the 77th minute to put the lead out of reach. The Highlanders would manage another shot in response before it was saved.
 
Cairn Women's Soccer will open conference play on Saturday with Notre Dame of Maryland University at 1 p.m.
