BRYN ATHYN, PA – Cairn Women's Soccer made the short tip over to Bryn Athyn College for a rematch of last season's United East Divisional Championship, this time being shutout by the Lions, 3-0.
 
Freshman forward Juliana Condurso (Brick, NJ / Calvary Academy) took the first shot for the Highlanders, out right before Bryn Athyn (4-6-1 / 1-2-1 United East) took the lead in the 17^th minute. The Lions got to the back of the net again in the 20^th minute and built a 3-0 lead with a goal in the 28^th minute. Cairn (2-7-1 / 2-2 United East). Sophomore forward Ella Quince (Morrisville, PA / Morrisville) took the final shot of the half, trying to put the Highlanders on the board before it was saved.
 
In the second half, Cairn would outshoot Bryn Athyn 9-4, with six shots on goal, despite neither squad having anything to show for it in the frame. The Lions kept the shutout intact for 90 minutes as Cairn dropped to 2-2 in conference play.
 
Cairn will host Cedar Crest College on Saturday as they move to the second half of conference play.
