MADISON, NJ - The Cairn University Men's Soccer team was on the road in Madison, NJ, taking on FDU-Florham on a rainy Saturday afternoon. The Devils of FDU-Florham held off the Highlanders, 1-0.
Cairn (2-4-2) traded shots with FDU-Florham (5-0-2) in the first half, battling with the wet turf. The Highlanders would look for scoring opportunities on five shots in the half, entering the halftime break all square at 0-0. Things looked deadlocked for most of the second half until FDU-Florham went ahead 1-0 in the 84th minute. The Devils' defense held off any final Highlander attack as the match closed in favor of FDU-Florham 1-0.

Cairn Men's Soccer heads to Lancaster Bible College on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. match to close out non-conference play.Â
