IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Cairn University men's lacrosse team (0-2) dropped their 2023 road opener by a score of 16-0 at non-conference adversary Immaculata University (2-0) on Saturday evening.
 
Junior Charles Cotton (Newburgh, NY / Newburgh Free Academy) led the offensive effort with a team-high 14 shots, followed by classmate Jonathan Balsamo (Long Island, NY / Eastport South Manor) with 10 shots.
 
Freshman Adain Holliday (Manhattan, NY / Murry Bergtraum) scooped up a team-high four ground balls, and sophomore Nico Cione (Yardley, PA / Pennsbury) collected a game-high 20 saves between the pipes in a complete game effort.
 
The Highlanders will be back in action on Saturday, March 4 when they travel to Riverdale, New York to face off with the College of Mount Saint Vincent at 1 p.m.
