LANGHORNE, PA - The Cairn Women's Soccer team hosted the Ravens of Rosemont College on Saturday afternoon as the team celebrated Senior Day for their 10 senior players. The Highlanders would draw with the Ravens, 0-0.

Becca Marzinke (Quakertown, PA / Upper Bucks Christian) were joined by their families and honored for each of their contributions and achievements over their careers for Cairn Women's Soccer.
Rosemont (3-8-1 / 2-1-1 United East Skye Division) looked to score first, putting up a shot only two minutes into the match. The Ravens and Highlanders traded four shots apiece in the period as the half closed all square. Cairn came out of the beak with pace, creating multiple open looks as the Highlanders sent four shots through the air in the first 20 minutes of second half play. Miller and freshman midfielder
Paige Noble (Egg Harbor Twp., NJ / Atlantic Christian School) would look to take the game for the Highlanders in the closing seconds of play but would come up empty as the match closed in a 0-0 draw.
While tied after the first half, Cairn would hold the overall advantage in shots, 12-8, while both squads had three shots on goal. Lee took three shots while Prate, Miller, Noble, and sophomore midfielder
Rachel Ingersol (West Chester, PA / Bayard Rustin) each had three shots on the day. Portis secured her 16
th career shutout which now ranks 1
st all-time in Cairn Women's Soccer program history, surpassing Mackenzie Paugh ('18).
The Cairn Women's Soccer team travels to Baltimore to take on Notre Dame (MD) on Tuesday for a 4 p.m. match.
