BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Cairn University men's volleyball team won, 3-0 (25-4, 25-11, 25-11) on the road at Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) foe Bryn Athyn College on Monday evening, sweeping the Lions for their sixth-straight win.
Cairn (7-4, 5-0 CSAC) dominated from the get-go blitzing Bryn Athyn (0-4, 0-4 CSAC) in the first set to take a 1-0 match lead. The Lions hung around in the second set, only trailing by seven (18-11) at the midway point, before the Highlanders closed the set on a 7-0 run to take a 2-0 match lead. The Highlanders used that momentum to finish off the Lions for a straight-set victory, completing the season sweep over the Lions.
