WOMEN'S RESULTS MEN'S RESULTS
BRYN ATHYN Pa. – The Cairn University women's and men's cross country teams saw their respective seasons culminate at the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championship meet, hosted by Bryn Athyn College on Saturday afternoon.
The women finished runner-up out of six qualifying teams, while the men finished in third place overall out of five programs. The University of Valley Forge claimed their first CSAC Title in program history, winning both the men's and women's titles. Overall, four different Highlanders earned All-CSAC honors (two men, two women).
"The men and women of Cairn Cross Country did an amazing job today at the CSAC Championships." remarked Head Coach Brian Jennings.
"Not only did they apply all of their training, but their primary focus was on glorifying God in all that they do. It has been a true blessing and an honor for me and Coach Jody Luther to observe how they share the gospel before, during, and after races through their actions and interactions. The highlight of the day was praying with the University of Valley Forge, alumni, friends, and family before the race. A huge congratulations to the women who placed second and to the men who placed third by only a three-point difference. Most of the runners met or exceeded their goals for the day. Jody and I are so proud of each one of them. They ran hard, and they ran fast with grace, mercy, and love."
