ASTON Pa. – The Cairn University women's soccer team lost on the road in non-conference contest against Neumann University by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday evening.
In the first half, Neumann (2-1) generated most of the offensive chances, out-shooting the Highlanders (0-3) 10-2 in the first half. However, the Knights only managed four of those ten shots on goal. th minute and sealed the victory with limited time remaining.
Neumann held the edge in shots (15-3) and shots on goal (8-2). The Knights also held the advantage in corner kicks (5-1). Lazor made a career-high six saves in the complete game effort.
The Highlanders will be back on the pitch on Friday September 17 when they welcome Trinity Washington University to town. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:30 p.m at Bristol Township Park.
