PHOENIXVILLE, PA- The Highlanders traveled to take on the University of Valley Forge in a rare late season non-conference matchup. Cairn outlasted the Patriots' young squad 84-80 and nudged above .500 on the season with tonight's win.

The Highlanders started out hot with threes from
Brennan Addley and
Jeremiah Harris and a couple layups from
Malachi Hall and
Justin Dean. Staked to a 12-3 lead, the Highlanders played at Valley Forge's fast pace, racking up 50 points in the first half thanks in large part to 6 triples. Freshman
Josh Forker continued his late-season breakout with three first half trey's to lead the Highlanders offense. The Patriots came storming back in the second half, but Cairn endured the late run to notch their 9
th win of the season.

Forker led the Highlanders with 18 points, sophomore
Kameron Clark notched 16 points and 10 rebounds, while
Malachi Hall (12 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists) and
Justin Dean (13 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists) played incredible all-around contests.

The Highlanders host Keystone College at 3:00 PM in another CSAC matchup this weekend.
