Langhorne, PA- Cairn took their fourth straight win Saturday afternoon- the Highlanders used a huge second half to outlast Keystone and improve to 10-8 on the season.
Â
The Giants came to Cairn with a plan- to pack the paint, play physical, and force the Highlanders to hit jumpers.
Brennan Addley started off hot for the Highlanders, knocking down three first half triples to put the Highlanders ahead. Despite the early success, Cairn entered the half trailing 35-31. The second half saw the proverbial lid lifted off the rim and the Highlanders all seemingly caught fire at the same time.
Jeremiah Harris and
Malachi Hall ran wild in the second half,
Kameron Clark controlled the inside, and Cairn racked up 57 second half points on the way to a 14 point victory. The Highlanders are improving every game and settling into their identity, a crucial development as the CSAC playoffs loom large on the horizon.
Â
Hall chipped in across the board with 17 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals, while Harris led the Highlanders with 20 points.
Â
