LANGHORNE, PA- The Highlanders stayed hot Saturday afternoon, defeating the Delaware Valley Aggies 1-0 for their third straight win.

Cairn dominated on the way to their third straight, the Highlanders put together a number of excellent chances over the first period of play. The Highlanders put 7 of their 9 shots on goal, forcing the Aggies keeper into a number of excellent saves. Tori Ruitto and Lauren Costa each had a number of stellar chances that snuck over the wrong side of the crossbar. After 90 minutes of play, the Highlanders headed to yet another overtime game. Fortunately, Dakota Hitchner ended the affair just six minutes into the first overtime period. Costa played a perfect corner into the middle that Ruitto expertly nodded into the path of a waiting Hitchner. The Highlanders multi sport star finished her third goal of the season with ease, giving Cairn a thrilling homecoming victory!

Cairn will travel to Rosemont College Tuesday afternoon, before hosting Notre Dame (MD) University Saturday at 1:30 PM.
