The Highlanders hosted Immaculata University Friday night for their senior night matchup. In front of a packed Mason Activity Center, the Highlanders coasted past the Mighty Macs winning 3-0. Prior to the start of the match Cairn honored the stellar careers of Ryan Ludvik, Juston Wolgemuth, and Aaron Delbury. Ludvik, Wolgemuth, and Delbury have each been pivotal members of the Cairn volleyball program in their time at the University and their contributions will be majorly missed.
 
The Highlanders started out on fire offensively with two kills apiece from Caleb Myers and Anton Deleon, and a smooth dump kill from Jon Simpson.  Immaculata battled back in the first set, bringing the score to 10-11, but Cairn simply would not be denied in front of the home crowd, mounting a 9-2 run thanks to kills from Myers, Ben Norton, Aaron Delbury, and Ryan Ludvik. The Highlanders took the first set 25-17 after a Jon Simpson service ace. The Highlanders kept up the pressure in the second set, rushing out to a 14-5 lead, and winning 25-14 on another service ace from the Highlanders senior leader Ludvik. After a tough stretch in recent weeks, the Highlanders played excellent volleyball all night, dominating the third set to take a 3-0 victory and their second CVC win of the season.
 
Wolgemuth (5 kills, 4 service aces, 9 digs), Ludvik (5 kills, 4 blocks, 9 assists), and Aaron Delbury (4 kills, 4 digs) all shined in their senior day match. The Highlanders will host Ramapo College and Lehman College tomorrow afternoon in a tri-match.
