LANGHORNE, PA- The Highlanders hosted CVC opponent Ramapo College and the non-conference Lehman College Lightning Saturday afternoon in their final home tri-match of the season. Cairn dropped the first contest to Ramapo, before handily defeating the Lightning in the day's final match.

The Highlanders battled hard against the high-powered Ramapo offense. After a tough first set, Cairn found their groove, playing nearly even with the Roadrunners.
Anton Deleon came up huge for the Highlanders, using his formidable length to dominate the front line and notch 9 kills on just 15 attempts.
Juston Wolgemuth, (7 digs),
Ryan Ludvik (6 digs, 2 blocks), and
Ben Norton (5 digs) did a top-notch job for the Highlanders on the defensive end, the Highlanders simply could not muster enough offensive firepower to take down the Roadrunners.

Cairn bounced back in their second game of the afternoon, dispatching the Lightning in straight sets. Cairn spread the offense around in match #2 as
Dave Cassel led with 6 kills, Ludvik and
Aaron Delbury finished with 5 kills, while
Ismael Santana,
Anton Deleon, and
Collin Benjamin each finished with 3.
Jon Simpson dished out 16 assists to lead all players, and
Sam Gabriels and Santana led the Highlanders defensively with 12 and 9 digs respectively.

The Highlanders will play their final home match of the season Tuesday night at 7:00 PM against Medgar Evers College.
