LANGHORNE, PA- The Highlanders hosted PSU-Abington Wednesday afternoon. Cairn's
Albert Taylor dominated in the start, pitching 6 innings of one run ball and leading the Highlanders to their 4
th straight victory.

The Highlanders pounced from the start; newly-appointed leadoff man Josh Melchior knocked one of his three hits on the day and promptly stole second,
Daniel Morales advanced Melchior, and
Brett Marks followed with a sharp single to left field for the Highlanders first run. Cairn's first inning didn't end there as
Emilio Alvarez walked, Brian Amantia knocked a double down the right field line, and
Alejandro Fernandez knocked in another run. The Highlanders notched another two runs in the bottom of the third with doubles from Alvarez and freshman
Caleb Edman. Staked to a huge lead, Taylor handed off the ball to
Ben Spadea who cruised through his inning. Melchior doubled in Mike Sorowice in the 7
th, Nate Wilson singled in Fernandez in the 8
th, and
Daniel Morales struck out the side to end the game.

Alvarez and Melchior finished with 3 hits apiece, Marks notched 2, and Edman, Fernandez, and Amantia Jr. each finished with 2 RBIs.
