LANGHORNE, PA- The Highlanders hosted the University of Valley Forge Tuesday night in nonconference play. Cairn defeated the Patriots in front of another energetic crowd to improve to 16-6 and win their 9
th straight.

Prior to the start of tonight's contest the Highlanders honored the stellar careers of their four senior stalwarts,
Seth Brunner,
Jordan Koczman,
Regis Peacock, and
Josh Decker. These four have been truly crucial in the turnaround of the Highlanders program, providing top notch leadership and setting the tone throughout their years, paving the way forward for Cairn's success. The Highlanders used pinpoint outside shooting and suffocating defense to shut down the Patriots in the first half- leading 40-25 at the break. Despite a great run from the Patriots, the Highlanders balanced scoring attack kept them ahead and Cairn coasted to their 9
th straight win of the season.

Brunner notched 9 points, Decker finished with 8, Koczman 7, and Peacock chipped in across the board with 2 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. The Highlanders
Eric Jacobs caught fire from deep, hitting on four of five tries for 14 points, while freshman
Jesse Rivera finished in double figures for the first time this season.
