After their incredible win streak was broken last weekend, the Highlanders bounced back in commanding fashion this week with a 7-1 victory over Keystone College and a 6-0 win over the College of Saint Elizabeth.
 
Against Keystone, Lauren Costa put the Highlanders ahead in the 5^th minute. The sophomore ran onto a perfect through ball from Brea Zellner and slotted her shot into the back of the net. The two attackers linked up just ten minutes later as Costa assisted Zellner to keep Cairn ahead. Tori Ruitto, Teresa Lee, and Zellner each added goals in the first half, while Lee and Sarah Jackson finished off the Highlanders scoring with two more goals in the second half.
 
The Highlanders coasted past the Eagles of St. Elizabeth Saturday afternoon as well. Cairn notched three goals in the first 16 minutes of the game when Brea Zellner, Katie Jordan, and Lauren Costa all finished off beautiful goals. Teresa Lee and DJ Hitchner got on board with goals of their own in the second half, and Costa added her 7^th of the season to close out the game.
 
The Highlanders will travel to take on the CSAC leading Cedar Crest College Falcons at 7:00 PM next Thursday before beginning the CSAC playoffs next Monday.
