ASTON, PA- Traveling to Neumann University for the first time, Cairn men's volleyball defeated the Knights in straight sets to achieve their first CVC win of the season.

The Highlanders controlled the day from start to finish, as they mounted a 6-0 run right off the bat in the first set. Never looking back, the Highlanders skated through the rest of the match- winning the first set 25-14, 25-16, and 25-18 in the third. The Highlanders tallied 44 kills to the Knights 11 as
Micah Godshall once again led the way with 16 kills, and
Joffrey Rosa (6 kills), Scott Bassill (6 kills), and
Ben Norton (5 kills) each chipped in to lead the Highlander offense. Setter
Ryan Ludvik dished 25 assists and tallied 13 digs to lead the Highlanders defensive efforts.

The Highlanders have their first home games of the season on Saturday when they host Mount Ida College and Eastern Mennonite University in a tri-match.
