LANCASTER, PA- Men's soccer traversed to Lancaster, PA to face off against rival Lancaster Bible College. The Highlanders outlasted the host Chargers winning a thrilling contest by a score of 4-2.
The Cairn University men's soccer team won yet another close match against everyone's favorite non-conference opponent, LBC. In a truly back-and-forth affair the Highlanders were able to summon the resolve to outlast the Chargers. LBC struck first 16 minutes into the contest as Caleb Nelson tallied his fourth goal of the season, however, a mere 9 minutes later

Brady Dorman gave the Highlanders the lead right before the half.
The second half followed a similar theme, as the Chargers struck early in the half once more to tie the game 2-2. Ever resilient, the Highlanders answered four minutes later; sophomore
Brendan Keller pursued a misplayed ball in front of the net; rounding the keeper to give the Highlanders a lead they would not relinquish. After the sophomore forward netted his second goal of the game in the 87
th minute the Highlanders ensured a victory, moving to 2-3 so far this young season.
The Highlanders will be back home this Thursday, squaring off against the University of Valley Forge at 3:00 PM.
