Radnor, PA – Cabrini College outscored Cairn University in the first half 48-24 on their way to a 99-71 defeat of the Highlanders. Cairn previously played the Cavaliers this season at home and lost a 95-83 contest.
The Highlanders were only outscored by four points in the second half, scoring 47 points.
Julian Collazo led the team with 19 points on 6-13 shooting from the floor and 6-8 from the free-throw line.
Josh Vlna shot 50% from the floor (5-10) on his way to 13 total points off the bench for Cairn. Collazo also led the team in rebounding with eight.
Zachary Jackson started the game for the Highlanders at point guard and finished with six assists.
Gerroid Doughty II scored 11 points on 4-12 shooting overall.
Six players for Cabrini College finished in double-digits on their way to the 99-point performance. Jair Green led the Cavaliers with 22 points, while Tyheim Monroe finished with a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds.
With the loss, Cairn dropped to 7-11 overall and 3-8 in the conference. Cabrini improved to 9-8 overall and 7-4 in the CSAC with the win. The Highlanders will next host Centenary College on Monday evening at 7pm as a reschedule from last weekend.
