New York, NY – Hunter College hosted the Cairn University Highlanders today where they came away with a 3-0 win, dropping the Highlanders to 3-3-1 overall this season. Cairn was held to just three shots throughout the game, compared to 14 for Hunter.
 
The Hawks started things off quickly and earned a corner kick at the 1:50 mark. Tucker Aiden then capitalized on the corner and put away his first goal of the game. Aiden later scored in the second half as well, with an assist from Diego Cisneros.
 
Connor Eby had the Highlanders first shot in the 16^th minute of the game but it was saved by Garrett Babbitt. The Highlanders could not find their footing for the remainder of the first half and couldn't challenge the keeper.
 
The Highlanders had two shots in the second half; one from Andrew Corsoe that was blocked and one from Zack Nelson that went wide of the net. Mike Warren started in goal and played the full 90 minutes for Cairn. Warren made three saves throughout the game.
 
Hunter's third goal was scored by Cisneros in the 73^rd minute that came from throw in on the right side. The Hawks were led by Tucker's two goals and five shots in the game, two shots on goal also came from Cisneros.
 
Cairn will return to action on Tuesday when they take on Washington Adventist University in Tacoma Park, Md., for a 5 p.m. game.
