Aston, PA - It took a goal in the second overtime from Neumann University to separate the two Colonial States Athletic Conference teams, as the Knights prevailed 2-1.

Despite being outshot 25-5 on the day, the Highlanders were on the board first thanks to freshman Hannah Morrison's third-career goal. In the 56th minute, Morrison scored an unassisted goal to put Cairn up 1-0 on the road. 

The Knights unleashed 12 second half shots in search of the tying goal but had to wait until the 71st minute for their first goal. 

Cairn's goalkeeper, Naomi Collipp made nine saves in the game, helping Cairn push the envelope to overtime. After making it through the first overtime unscathed, there was little that could be done to stop Brooke Harvey's game-winner in the 101st minute.

The loss puts the Highlanders at 1-6-2 in conference and 4-10-2 overall.

Cairn will have a shot at their second CSAC win this coming Monday when they host rivals Notre Dame (MD) at 4pm. The Highlanders snuck past the Gators last season with a 1-0 score, thanks to Amara Mills.
