Cairn's women's soccer team came into today's match with an 0-2 record and still looking for its first goal of the season. But the Highlanders had put up solid defensive performances in their first two games of the season, giving up only one goal to Penn St.-Abington and holding Eastern Mennonite to only two goals. Today, however, the Highlanders seemed helpless against the Bulldogs.

DeSales dispatched 32 shots to Cairn's 1. Naomi Collipp had the Highlanders only shot of the game with just over a minute to play in the first half while Cairn's Sara Poole and Morgan Swan combined for 9 saves.
