Box Score

It didn't take long for the Highlanders to be off and running. After just 1:11, Naomi Collipp scored her second goal in a week's time to put Cairn up 1-0 for a perfect start. For the next four goals, it was the Kathleen Meacham show. The junior forward would take part in the next four goals as Cairn built a 5-0 lead. In the 21st minute, Meacham scored her first goal to give Cairn a 2-0 advantage. Less than than two minutes later, the lead was extended to 3-0. Meacham assisted on Amara Mills 2nd goal of the season at the 21:40 mark. It was 4-0 in the 39th minute when Meacham continued to dominate proceedings, scoring her 2nd goal of the game and 4th of the season. Two minutes later, Meacham was at it again. This time she was helping Shelby Wischan score her first career collegiate goal, giving Cairn a 5-0 lead going into halftime.

Cairn held a 14-5 advantage in shots at halftime. The pace slowed in the second half, but that didn't stop the Highlanders from adding to their lead.

Amara Mills notched her 2nd goal of the game in the 63rd minute, making it 6-0 before senior midfielder Chelsea Troyer got in on the action. Troyer tallied her first goal of the season in the 78th minute. Freshman starlet Laurisa Wager, who has controlled the Highlanders midfield all season, slotted her 2nd goal of the season with less than three minutes to play, completing the 8-0 score line.

The Highlanders outshot the Patriots 23-6 over 90 minutes.

Cairn netminder Morgan Swan earned her first career shutout without having to make a save.

Cairn returns to action on Thursday when they host Bryn Mawr College.
