LANGHORNE, PA - The Crimson Eagles took on the Mighty Macs of Immaculata University today but were unable to end their skid of 4 games without a win.
Immaculata put the game away in the 2nd half with 3 goals to build on their 1-0 halftime lead. The Mighty Macs Bridget Cunningham scored a second half brace, 2 goals in soccer terms, to seal the victory.
Zena Tracey had given Immaculata the 1-0 lead in the first half, 18 minutes into the contest, off a pass from Samantha Colosi.
Erin Lewis added a rth goal in the 77th minute.
Naomi Collipp and Sara Poole combined to make 26 saves on the day.
The Crimson Eagles have now lost 5 in a row, after posting back-to-back wins early on against SUNY-Cobleskill and Valley Forge Christian College.
It was also the second straight match that PBU was shutout. Before that, the Crimson Eagles had scored in the previous 5 games.
