BEAVER FALLS, PA - Big, strong, physical, and good. Four words that adequately describe the Geneva College men's basketball team Friday evening.
The Golden Tornadoes ran past the Crimson Eagles Friday night 104-58, using physical superiority to dominate the visiting squad on the glass, 47-25. Geneva connected on 53.4 percent of their attempts for the game and forced PBU into 23 turnovers in the Crimson Eagles' third straight loss to open the season.
Senior forward Tom Arthur finished with 14 points and six boards for PBU while Dan O'Brien notched a season high 11 points on four of five shooting from the field. Willie Miller, Jeremy Pearson, and Dan Schlegel all chipped in with six points each.
The Crimson Eagles will play in the consolation match tomorrow afternoon against Penn State New Kensington at 1:00 pm.
