Kailey Bartholomew

Kailey Bartholomew is in her third season as Cairn's Head Women's Soccer Coach in 2024.

In 2024, Bartholomew coached the Highlanders to their sixth-straight postseason appearance, with one All-Conference selection and a 5-9-1 record in their second season competing in the United East.

2023 saw the Highlanders advance to the United East Divisional Final after a first round victory and upset on the road at no. 2 Wilson College on the road in penalty kicks as the third seed in the division, ending their season two wins shy of an overall conference championship. Six players were named to All-Conference teams including Rachel Yoder who was named the United East Skye Division Defensive Player of the Year, the second season in a row the Highlanders fielded the conference's best defensive player, 

In her first season in 2022, Bartholomew led Cairn to the No. 4 seed in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) playoffs, and directed the Highlanders to the conference semifinal match. Under her guidance, Cairn won 11 games including a 9-1-1 record at home, and four Highlanders earned All-CSAC recognition, highlighted by CSAC Defensive Player of the Year honors going to fifth-year Tori Ruitto.
 
Bartholomew brings a plethora of high-level coaching and playing experience to the helm, most recently serving as the Head Girls' Soccer Coach at Faith Christian Academy out of the Bicentennial Athletic League (BAL). During her time with the team, the Lions became PIAA District I Champions and made it all the way to the PIAA State Quarter-Finals. For her efforts, Bartholomew garnered BAL Coach of the Year recognition. In addition, during Bartholomew's first year as coach at Faith Christian, three of her players were selected to the All-BAL First Team, and four were selected during her second year, including two of her players who were chosen as Goalie of the Year and Player of the Year.
 
During her playing career, Bartholomew grew up competing in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) for F.C. Delco, where she was a top college recruit. Bartholomew graduated from Delaware County Christian School in Newtown Square, Pa. and played collegiate soccer for Liberty University, where she was a full-ride, NCAA Division I Scholarship-Athlete. Bartholomew graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design from Liberty in 2020. Bartholomew furthered her playing career post-graduation with Torch F.C., an elite Christian soccer club, which participates in a women's premier league.
