Dave Shaffer enters his third season with the Highlanders as their goalkeeper coach and assistant coach for the 2017 season. Dave was a 4 year starter in net for the Highlanders. During his tenure in net, he was a two year captain, named to the 2012 Rutgers Camden All-Tournament Team, a 2013 NSCAA All-American, 2013 NCCAA East Region Co-player of the year, 2010-2013 NCCAA East Region First Team

Our goalkeepers have improved significantly, and he’s done awesome job, creating a goalkeeper training program and curriculum for our guys. Our 2015 defensive numbers are a reflection of that work and his attention to detail. ”
Dave currently resides in Philadelphia with his wife Claire.
