Cairn University Athletics

Kevin Heffler joins the Cairn Men's Lacrosse coaching staff for the 2024 season. Heffler has over 20 years of experience coaching lacrosse at the recreation, club, and high school levels, most recently coaching the Northern Maryland Fellowship of Christian Athletes varsity team. 

Heffler was a four-year letterman in football at Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee. He attended high school at Saint Benedict at Auburndale in Cordova, Tennessee, where he was the 1991 Class A Commercial Appeal defensive player of the year.  

Heffler resides in Eldersburg, Maryland with his wife Tina. He has two daughters, Abby and Lindsey, who both played lacrosse in college, as well as a son, Cole, who is on the Cairn men’s lacrosse team.
