Tom Arthur

Tom Arthur begins his second season with the men's basketball staff as an assistant coach following a storied career as a PBU player.

"It's exciting to have Tom back on board for another year," said head coach Jared Yoder. "He not only brings tremendous experience as a successful and decorated player to the table, but he provides enthusiasm and a strong work ethic as well that proved invaluable for our program a season ago."

A four-year starter and three-time All-Conference performer, Arthur concluded his remarkable career ranked amongst the program leaders in several statistical categories. With career averages of 18.0 points per game and 9.1 rebounds, Arthur sits third on the all-time scoring list having amassed 1,687 points and fourth overall in rebounding with 856.

Additionally, Arthur concluded his playing tenure with the Crimson Eagles having shot over 50 percent from the field while being named an NCCAA II All-American three times. He was tabbed to the NCAA III Mid-Atlantic All Region Third Team following his senior campaign, becoming the first PBU men's basketball player to ever do so.

In his current role with the program, Arthur's primary responsibility is focused on developing low post play. He also spends significant time in the areas of practice preparation, scouting, and recruitment.

Arthur graduated from PBU during the spring of 2010 with a health and physical education degree and is currently employed as a validation specialist at Valsource, LLC. He resides in Forked River, NJ.
