The start of the 2011-12 academic calendar signals Jared Yoder's fourth year at the helm of the Crimson Eagle men's basketball program.

Serving as the interim coach during his initial campaign, Yoder's squad managed just a solo victory during his first year
on the sidelines. After officially taking over the program's reigns during the 2009-10 season, the team posted seven wins - a six game improvement from the year before. The mark included the program's first ever victory within CSAC play as the team ultimately managed to collect five triumphs in conference action.

Hit hard with several untimely injuries during their most recent campaign, the Crimson Eagles hobbled through a season that saw a young core carry a heavy load throughout the year. However, after losing just one player to graduation, Yoder's youthful group is primed to make some noise in the near future.

A four year letter winner on the hardwood at Messiah College, Yoder wrapped up an outstanding career with the Falcons in 2007 by being honored as the Commonwealth Conference Most Valuable Player following his senior season. Additionally, the Lancaster county native became the first ever Messiah men's basketball player to be named an NCAA III All-American, garnering National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Second-Team accolades following the 2006-07 season.

In addition to his coaching duties, Yoder works in the PBU athletic department as the full time Sports Information Director. He currently resides in the Langhorne area with his wife, Meredith.
