James Richardson joins the Cairn Baseball coaching staff ahead of the 2025 season as an assistant coach and team chaplain.
Richardson previously served as an assistant coach for the baseball program from 2011-2013 seasons in addition to three seasons as an assistant coach on the Cairn Men's Basketball staff, earning a bachelors degree in Bible from Cairn in 2012.Â
James is a veteran of the United States Army, serving at the beginning of Operation Iraqi Freedom, decorated twice with the Army Commendation Medal. His coaching career began in the Army as the Head Coach/Manager of the Men's Softball team at US Army Rose Barracks in Germany, winning back-to-back base championships in 2001 and 2022.Â
Since then, Richardson has served as a Head Coach at the Bristol Borough Little League, where he resides, since 2020 where he oversaw the return to play efforts after COVID-19. In the community, James has served as President & CEO of The Way Home out of Bristol, PA, being named to Bucks County's Fourty Under 40 list in 2012.Â
Richardson has served the greater Cairn community in the Office of Safety and Security since 2022, now as the Director of Security.Â
