LATHAM, N.Y. - The United East conference has announced its Athletes of the Week for September 14, 2026.  Alijah Miller was named Men's Soccer Offensive POTW. 

In 3 games for Cairn Men's Soccer this week Alijah Miller (Monroe, NC / Homeschool) scored 5 goals and tallied 2 assists. This is Miller's first Player of The Week honors for the 2026 season after earning 1st team all-conference in 2025. 

In the Highlanders' game against Penn State Hazleton Miller connected on 2 early goals and exited the game after playing just 32 minutes. When Cairn played Penn State Schuylkill Miller once again scored 2 early games and also added on an assist. In the Highlanders' 3rd game of the week Miller once again found the back of the net, and dished out an assist to help the Highlanders walk away with a 3-3 draw against Lebanon Valley. 

Miller and the Highlanders will return to action this week on Wednesday September 16th when they travel to Gwynedd Mercy for a non-conference game.
