LATHAM, NY - The United East conference has announced its Athletes of the Week for September 15. This week's selections included contests from Monday, September 8 through Sunday, September 14.
Cairn Women's Cross Country junior
Clarisse Hayden (Bangkok, Thailand / International Community School) has been named the United East Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week. Hayden won her third-straight conference meet, dating back to the 2024 preview, on Saturday as the field of United East teams met at Penn St. Brandywine for a sneak peak of the 2025 Championship roster. Hayden won the race outright, topping the podium as she finished in 24:48.72, ahead of second place by about 15 seconds.
This is the first Runner of the Week award for Hayden in 2025, after being recognized five times in a row to start the 2024 season.
