The game commenced with a challenging first quarter for Cairn (1-19 / 0-14 UNITED EAST), as the Bison established a commanding 26-7 lead as they put up 11 points in the second quarter with sophomore forward
Dezaray Bright (Keystone Heights, FL / Keystone Heights) leading the half with eight points. The Third quarter would be a continuation of the first half until the Highlanders were able to outscore Gallaudet (14-9 / 11-3 UNITED EAST) in the final fame, 14-13.
Bright led Cairn's offense, contributing 16 points and four steals as senior guard
Kailee Sobrino (Vail, AZ / Empire) had fourteen with a pair of three-pointers and dishing out four assists.
Looking ahead, Cairn continues their road trip as they prepare to face Cedar Crest College in Allentown on Thursday.
