MEDIA, PA – Women's Cross Country won their second-straight individual championship at the United East Championship meet on Saturday at Penn St. Brandywine, putting together a fourth-place team finish.
Junior
Clarisse Hayden (Bangkok, Thailand / International Community School) raced to a back-to-back top finish in United East Championship meets, leading the way in 23:54.4 to become the United East individual champion in both 2024 and 2025. As the top finisher, Hayden also wins United East Female Runner of the Year honors for the second-straight season.
Senior
AyliGrace Munro (Bar Harbor, ME / Mount Desert Island) was in the top 15, at 15
th, in 27:28.4. Junior
Clara Tylavsky (Des Moines, IA / Saydel) was next in 29
th, clocking in in 30:04.3, immediately followed by senior
Morgan Steele (Bowie, MD / Estele Christian) in 30:09.7. Sophomore
Madelynne Davis (Philadelphia, PA / Calvary Christian) also came across in the 30
th minute of the race, at 30:15.6 in 32
nd place. Senior
Elizabeth Cobb (Cortland, NY / Cortland Christian) crossed next in her cross country debut, finishing in 31:52.1 with sophomore
Maszie Granz (Manchester, PA / Northeastern) rounded out the list in 33:33.9 with a new personal best.
Cairn finished fourth as a team.
The Highlanders will compete at the NCAA Regional Meet on November 15 hosted by Rowan University.
