SB: Cairn Shutout by Rosemont

ROSEMONT, PA – The Cairn University Softball team battled with conference foe, Rosemont College, in a Skye Division doubleheader under the lights in Rosemont, dropping both games, 8-0 & 11-0.
 
GAME ONE
  • Junior third baseman Abbi Heacock (Media, PA / Delaware County Christian School) went 1-2 in the game one loss.
GAME TWO
  • Freshman shortstop Emily Brittin (Winslow, NJ / Pilgrim Academy) classmate Myiah Petroro (Long Island, NY / Liberty University Online Academy) each went 1-2 in game two, Brittin raising her batting average to .310, now leading the team.
 
The Highlanders will head down to Baltimore to face the Notre Dame of Maryland University Gators on Wednesday for a 3 & 5 p.m. conference doubleheader.
