HUGHESVILLE, MD - Cairn Men's Cross Country competed in the United East Men's Cross Country Championship hosted by St. Mary's College of Maryland on Saturday, finishing sixth out of the field of eleven.
Junior
Titus Dingle (Catonsville, MD / Chapelgate Christian) finished first of the Highlander pack, 26th overall, with a 31:00.6 8K time. Following behind Dingle was sophomore
Derek Tewksbury (Portland, CT / Portland) in thirty-first place (31:12.6). Only fourteen seconds behind his teammate, senior
Avian Hall (Brooklyn, NY / Homeschool) pushed through the finish at 31:26.8.
Next to finish for the Highlanders was sophomore
Jesse Stuart (Chattanooga, TN / Chiang Rai International Christian). Stuart crossed in 32:21.7, leading the way for freshman
Elijah Bailey (Philadelphia, PA / Commonwealth Charter) who finished the race at 33:46.0. Seniors
Jeremy Golden (Lancaster, PA / Clarks Summit University) and
Dillan Smith (Andover, ME / Telstar Regional) finished in 53
rd and 54
th, respectively, at 34:00.0 and 34:13.0. Next was sophomore
Levi Mix (Montgomery, TX / West Orange-Stark) at 37:21.4. Senior
Nathaniel Lofgren (Waterford, PA / General McLane), freshman
Micah Collier (Philadelphia, PA / Homeschool), and sophomore
Aaron Frisch (Claremont, NH / Claremont Christian) rounded out the field for Cairn in order at 39:54.7, 43:29.5, and 44:54.8.
