Men's Basketball: Highlanders Out-Defend Defenders on the Road

CLARKS SUMMIT, PA – The Cairn University Men's Basketball team took on the Defenders of Clarks Summit University up in Clarks Summit on Saturday afternoon, where the Highlanders picked up their second conference win, 77-58.

  • Senior forward Derian Bradford (Lansdale, PA / Faith Christian Academy) was the top performer on the game, scoring 28 on 12-19 shooting, including two triples and nine rebounds.
  • Senior forward Aytor Alberto (Willemstad, Curaçao / Clarks Summit University) and fifth year guard Josh Forker (Telford, PA / Faith Christian Academy) rounded out the double-digit scorers with 16 and 10 points, respectively, and four rebounds apiece.
  • Junior guard Christian Rivera (Cayey, Puerto Rico / Central Bucks East) tallied eight assists.
  • Junior guard Ismael Baqai (Pembroke Pines, FL / Washington College (MD)) deposited a game-high three triples on 60% shooting from deep.
