ASTON, Pa. – The Cairn University men's tennis team lost, 7-2, at Neumann University on Friday.
Cairn (4-6) earned two victories on the day, one in double competition and another in singles. Seniors
Jake Edwards (Delta, PA / Harford Christian) and
Ismael Santana (Danbury, CT / Danbury) paired together to snag an 8-5 victory at No. 2 doubles, while the Highlanders lone singles triumph came at the hands of junior
Joel Cassel (Glenside, PA / Calvary Christian Academy) who struck a 6-2, 6-4 victory in the No. 5 singles slot.
The Highlanders will be back on the court on Saturday, April 2 when they travel to Clarks Summit University to take on the Defenders at 12 p.m.
