LANGHORNE, Pa. – The Cairn University men's volleyball team swept both of their contests in their home Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) tri-match against Rosemont College (25-8, 25-13, 25-13) and Pratt Institute (25-11, 25-7, 25-9).
Cairn (11-4, 9-0 CSAC) dominated both matches and commanded the momentum throughout the contests. In the first match, the Highlanders kept Rosemont (4-12, 4-6 CSAC) at bay for most of the contest, as the Ravens lost each set by more than double digits. The second match against Pratt (2-11, 2-6 CSAC) felt identical to the first match of the day, as the Highlanders swept the Cannoneers to earn their tenth-consecutive victory of the season, matching their largest win-streak from last year's CSAC Championship run. As a team, Cairn matched its best hitting percentage of the season at .479 against Pratt. Horning paced the Cairn offense again with a match-high 13 kills to the tune of a .667 hitting percentage.
