LANGHORNE, Pa. – The Cairn University men's tennis team lost, 5-4, in their season opener at home against Arcadia University on Wednesday evening.

Michael Wilson, who claimed a victory at No. 2 singles by a score of 8-5. The Highlanders claimed one more singles win over Arcadia (1-0), as junior
Joel Cassel (Glenside, PA / Calvary Christian Academy) earned an 8-1 victory. The Highlanders also snagged two of the three doubles matches, as Wilson and senior
Brad Garges (Perkasie, PA / Pennridge HS) picked up an 8-7 (8-6) win at No. doubles, while senior
Ismael Santana and freshman
Joel Kim won 8-5 at No. 3 doubles.
The Highlanders will be back on the court next week when they are back home on Thursday, September 23 to take on Penn State Abington in a non-conference matchup at 3 p.m.
