LANGHORNE, PA - The Highlanders clashed with Clarks Summit for the first time this season and won every singles and doubles matchup en route to a 9-0 team victory.
 
Before the match, the Highlanders honored the career of senior women's tennis player Sarah Jackson. Sarah is the daughter of head men's and women's tennis coach Kevin Jackson and has been a member of the tennis team since 2019. 
 
Once the senior day ceremonies were over, the Highlanders got right to work against the Defenders. All five singles players (Paige Kemper, Brianna Miller, Lauren Griffith, Sarah Jackson, and Rachel Campbell-Robertson) won their matchups without losing a single set; the Defenders forfeited the #6 singles match. In doubles, both the #1 doubles pair of Kemper and Miller and #2 doubles pair of Griffith and Jackson also swept the Defenders 8-0.
 
Cairn is now 2-0 in conference play. They next face the Chargers of Lancaster Bible College here in Langhorne on Thursday, before their final CSAC regular season competition against the Cedar Crest College Falcons this Saturday in Allentown.
