LANGHORNE, PA- The Highlanders hosted the University of Valley Forge Saturday afternoon, picking up two more huge wins to start a perfect 3-0 in CSAC play.

The Highlanders turned to senior studs
Sam Dralle and
Albert Taylor against the Patriots over the weekend. Dralle pitched 6 innings of one run ball in game one for his third win of the year, and Taylor gave up only 3 hits in 6 innings to improve to 2-0 on the year.

Mike Sorowice and
Trey Valiton led the Highlanders hit parade in game one. Sorowice went a perfect 2-2 with 3 runs, 2 RBIs, and 3 stolen bases, while Valiton went 3-4 with 2 doubles, 2 runs, and 2 RBIs. The Highlanders went for 18 hits, 10 stolen bases, and a whopping 16 runs in game one. Matt Fink closed the game out with a scoreless inning, and Josh Melchior,
Andrew Philips,
Caleb Edman, and Nano Fernandez each finished with 2 RBIs.

The Highlanders bats stayed hot in the afternoon's second contest. The upperclassmen took the mantle in game two as
Daniel Morales went 2-3 with a double, triple, 4 runs, and 3 RBIs,
Emilio Alvarez went 3-4 while knocking in 5 runs, Nano Fernandez went 2-4 once again, and Dan Bierc went a perfect 2-2 at the dish.
Dom Maglione took the ball from Taylor and completed the Highlanders shut out in game two.

Cairn improved to 11-9 on the year and have won 7 of their last 9. The Highlanders will take on Neumann University Monday afternoon, before hosting Cabrini University for a non-conference doubleheader Tuesday at 1:00 PM.
