LANGHORNE, PA- The Highlanders hosted one of the CSAC's strongest teams Saturday afternoon, splitting a series with the Cedar Crest Falcons after two tightly-contested matchups.

A huge third inning rally propelled the Highlanders to victory in game one.
Grace Hardesty started with a walk, before showing incredible awareness on the base paths, taking multiple bases and scoring on an error.
Haley Tinney singled to right field to knock
Reaven East home, and
Meagan Maratita was hit by a pitch to put two runners on base.
Tori Knox advanced the runners, and
Olivia Nieto singled to score both Tinney and Maratita and give the Highlanders a 3-0 lead. Cedar Crest got one run back in the sixth, but
Krista Earl shut the door, pitching a complete game and giving the Highlanders their 5
th CSAC win of the season.

Nieto came through with another huge RBI single to score Maratita in the first inning of game two. Cedar Crest got back on top with a run in the 2
nd and the 5
th, but
Hailey Wruck showed off her speed, scampering around the basepaths and bringing the Highlanders within one run in the 6
th. Down one headed to the bottom of the 7
th, the Highlanders were unfortunately unable to overcome the Falcon's one run cushion and fell 3-2 in game two.
