LANGHORNE, PA- The Highlanders hosted Notre Dame (MD) University Friday night, seeking their first CSAC win of the 2019 season.
 
Keeping the momentum of their 9-0 win over Cabrini last weekend, the Highlanders pounced on the Gators from the start, winning doubles in commanding fashion and sacrificing only 3 total games. The team of Kara Williams and Charlotte Allen thrived once more in the #3 doubles spot, shutting out their competitors and winning 8-0. The Highlanders took a 3-0 lead into singles play once more, Bianca Birney quickly dispatched the opposition, winning 6-0, 6-0. Maya Neal, Charlotte Allen, and Ellie Santos each played perfect singles tennis on the afternoon, taking their matches 6-0, 6-0 as well.  Not to be outdone, the freshman tandem of Allyssa Peters and Lauren Griffith won 6-0, 6-2 to give the Highlanders a clean 9-0 sweep for their first conference victory of the season.
 
The Highlanders play another match tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 PM against Gwynedd Mercy University in search of their 3^rd straight win.
