BUENA VISTA, VA- The Highlanders continued their road trip this weekend, taking on the 10^th overall team in the nation in Southern Virginia University.
 
The Highlanders struggled to get their attack going against SVU's formidable block as the Knights height and leaping ability forced Cairn to alter their usual plan of attack. Cairn attempted to swing around Southern Virginia's lengthy middles, but the Highlanders simply could not muster enough firepower to contend with one of the nation's top teams.
 
Seven different Highlanders notched kills on the afternoon with Juston Wolgemuth carding 4 kills on only 9 attempts, while Ryan Ludvik, Anton Deleon, and Ben Norton each notched 3 apiece. On the defensive end, Ludvik, Deleon, Bassill, and Collin Benjamin each finished with a block.
 
The Highlanders will take on Kean University March 20^th at 7:00 PM after their return from spring break.
