LA PLUME, PA- The Highlanders took on the Keystone College Giants Wednesday night, falling 51-71 in one of the final games of the regular season.
 
The Highlanders started off a bit sloppily, notching five turnovers over the first five minutes but settling in as Kendra Stum and Dakota Hitchner began to flow offensively. The Highlanders battled back, edging closer in the first quarter and playing the Giants even over the second to trail by 6 at the half. Unfortunately for the Highlanders, Keystone opened it up in the third quarter, showing why they're the second overall seed in the CSAC and outscoring the Highlanders by a score of 18-8. The Highlanders picked it up in the fourth, but were unable to overcome the early deficit.
 
Cairn was led by Kendra Stum with 14 points and 8 rebounds.
 
The Highlanders will finish up the regular season when they take on Wilson College this weekend at 1:00 PM before playing their first round playoff game on Monday, February 18^th. Stay tuned for further information.
