LANGHORNE, PA- The Highlanders underclassmen stepped up Wednesday night as the Highlanders rolled past Rosemont in CSAC play.
Â
The Highlanders entered Wednesday's game a little shorthanded as
Malachi Hall,
Brennan Addley, and
Eric Jacobs were all ruled out prior to the start of the contest. To make matters worse, star senior
Julian Collazo left with a hamstring injury just 11 minutes into the night. With a number of injuries, the Highlanders young players were given an opportunity to shine, and shine they did. Sophomore
Kameron Clark controlled the paint, scoring 22 points and snagging 15 rebounds. Freshman
Elias Ortiz and
Wes Murray provided a huge boost on the outside knocking in 5 threes and scoring 11 and 10 points. 14 different Highlanders played on the way to Cairn's 19 point victory over Rosemont.
Jeremiah Harris and
Justin Dean stayed consistent as ever as Harris finished with 21 points and 6 assists and Dean notched another double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Â
The Highlanders will travel to Neumann University Saturday afternoon for their last game before Christmas break.
