BLUFFTON, OH- The Highlanders traveled to Ohio over Christmas break to compete against some tough competition in the Bluffton Holiday Classic. The Highlanders were unable to walk away with wins after two hotly-contested matchups, but junior point guard Dakota Hitchner played an excellent tournament and was named to the All-Tournament Team.
 
Hitchner notched 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists in the first contest against the hosts, before tallying an excellent 25 point, 10 rebound double-double in the Highlanders second contest. The Highlanders will have a couple days to recover before jumping right into CSAC play upon their return home. Cairn will host Notre Dame (MD) at 1:00 PM on January 4^th before traveling to Morristown, NJ to take on the College of Saint Elizabeth on the 7^th.
