LANGHORNE, PA- The Highlanders outlasted Penn State – Berks Saturday night for the first home win of the 2019-2020 season!
Cairn built a huge lead over the Nittany Lions in the first half, pushing the pace and getting countless easy buckets thanks to the passing prowess of
Julian Collazo and
Malachi Hall. The Highlanders built a 55-36 lead at the break and coasted in the second half to the victory. PSU-Berks got hot from three to make the game more interesting, but the Highlanders closed it out down the stretch for their second win of the season.
Brennan Addley cleaned up in the paint notching 21 points and 10 rebounds, while
Malachi Hall went a perfect 7-7 from the floor for 16 points and 10 assists. Collazo controlled the glass for the Highlanders with an incredible 13 rebounds and 8 assists.
The Highlanders will host Lancaster Bible College Monday night at 7:00 PM in their final game before the Thanksgiving holiday. The Highlander Club will also be hosting a tailgate at 5:45 PM prior to the nights' festivities!
